The Art Club of McKinney presents the 2024 Spring Show!

Teaching art in some capacity has been Kay Byfield's passion for more than 40 years. She likes to say that she is a teacher who paints rather than a painter who teaches.
Kay started watercolor painting and then teaching as a young mother but when she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree at Vermont College of Norwich University, she became a college art professor for 10 years. Eventually, grading students became a grind, and she left college teaching after she received an MBA and went into business. Retired after twelve years as a marketer, she owns ArtSpeaks Studios and delights in helping artists find their own unique visions and discover their own voices. artspeaksstudio.com
