Since our founding, the McKinney Plein Air Society has made a significant impact in our community. We have provided opportunities for artists to exhibit their work, connected artists with each other, and brought the arts to underserved communities.
Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is a renowned cultural institution in Bentonville, Arkansas, founded by philanthropist Alice Walton. Set within 120+ acres of native Ozark forest, the museum's spectacular architecture merges seamlessly with nature, and it is famous for offering free general admission to the public. We will be taking a field trip to the museum.
McKinney Art Gallery is a hub supporting over 50 artists, drawing people from all corners of the community together in celebration of art and culture.
