Wildflowers & Wonderment ARt Exhibition

Fill your canvas or other 2D artwork with vibrant blossoms, delicate petals, winding vines, golden sunshine, dancing butterflies, busy bees, and the joyful spirit of wildflowers in colorful bloom. And isn't every flower essentially a wildflower somewhere? And how can you depict "wonder?" A child picking a flower, a drive down a country road, a stroll through a garden, remembering your granny's garden? So much subject matter can be entered in this art show! This is essentially two exhibitions - a live exhibition and a digital exhibition. You can enter both - see prospectuses for details. Yes, two prospectuses!  There are separate applications, separate entry fees, and separate shows for each exhibition.

We are so excited to announce our first live fall exhibition in quite some time AND our FIRST EVER digital art show! Yes, our Wildflowers & Wonderment Art Exhibition is TWO exhibitions! Enter now as registration is limited. Both exhibitions are open to members and non-members of the Art Club of McKinney.

We are excited about our new partnership with Habitat Plants+Coffee at 214 N. Kentucky Street and look forward to you attending the exhibition, which will be open to the public during coffee shop hours on Friday, Nov. 6th and Saturday, Nov. 7th from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Our art exhibition reception will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and the awards ceremony will be at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 7th. 

We are also thrilled to partner with the Collin County History Museum in conjunction with their celebration to honor Lady Bird Johnson's 50th anniversary of visiting McKinney. Be sure to check their website for museum activities.

YOU CAN ENTER THE LIVE EXHIBITION AND ALSO THE DIGITAL EXHIBITION IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ENTER BOTH, BUT MAKE CERTAIN WHEN ENTERING THE LIVE EXHIBITION YOU ARE USING THE CORRECT APPLICATION AND THE CORRECT PROSPECTUS. SAME FOR FOR THE DIGITAL EXHIBITION.
