MEET THE JUDGE

Chris Turner

We are thrilled to announce the return of Chris Turner as our guest judge for the 2025 High School Student Art Show. After receiving rave reviews last year, Chris's keen eye for detail and deep appreciation for the beauty and thought behind each piece of art made him a standout judge. Chris is a visual storyteller best known for his vibrant abstract paintings. His artwork is celebrated for its rich, expressive colors and dynamic compositions, and can be found in numerous private collections across the United States. He has garnered recognition in prestigious juried competitions, selected by internationally acclaimed museum curators from the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. We are excited to have Chris back with us this year and look forward to his insights and expertise as he explores and evaluates the incredible talent of our high school artists.
