MISSION

The Art Club of McKinney is dedicated to fostering a vibrant, inclusive arts community through a wide array of events, opportunities, workshops, classes, exhibitions, and field trips. Our mission is to elevate the community’s artistic standards through education and engagement—using programs we sponsor and present to spark curiosity, refine craft, and connect creatives across ages and disciplines.

What we do includes: monthly member meetings with guest artists; skill-building workshops and demo days; teen and student programs; pop-up shows and community murals; studio and museum field trips; scholarships and awards (including the High School Student Art Show); and mentorship, volunteer, and leadership opportunities. We partner with local schools, nonprofits, and businesses to expand access to the arts, and we champion an atmosphere of encouragement—where feedback is kind, learning is hands-on, and makers of all backgrounds feel welcome. Whether you’re just beginning or building a professional practice, the Art Club of McKinney is a homebase to create, learn, and grow together.
